We are seeking a reliable and competent Prestressed Concrete Inspector to join our team at KTA-Tator, Inc.

Job Summary

KTA-Tator, Inc. is a leading materials engineering firm providing a range of services, including coatings, steel, concrete fabrication, and building envelope inspection, evaluation, and testing. As a Prestressed Concrete Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting Prestressed Girders at various Prestress Plants throughout Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect Prestressed Girders to ensure compliance with WisDOT specifications and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of prestressed concrete structures, including bridges and transportation projects.
  • Document findings and prepare accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Travel to various job sites, including those with inclement weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Prior experience with reading and understanding WisDOT specifications and guidelines.
  • PCI Level II or III certification issued by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver's License.
  • Basic photography skills and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
