The Maintenance Electro-Mechanic provides service to the production department through electrical and mechanical support. This role participates in the Preventive Maintenance program to ensure equipment readiness and contributes to continuous improvement of equipment and processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install, examine, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components for equipment and plant systems/fixtures
  • Read manuals, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly
  • Record data in CMMS system
  • Work with Maintenance Department to create/improve Preventive Maintenance plans and schedules

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Evaluate hazards and describe measures to achieve a safe work environment
  • Take direction from Maintenance Department Group Leader/Leader
  • Adherence to PPE, SOP, HACCP, and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations

**Schedule and Work Environment:**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s). The work site is fully on-site in Elk Grove, California. Schedule can change week to week by an hour or so, posted on Thursdays for the following week. Saturdays are potential workdays. Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends, able to work in refrigerated cold and/or hot environments, perform physically strenuous activities, and work with food allergens and sanitization chemicals.
