Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to instruct students in the skills required to read and understand industrial blueprints.
Responsibilities- Instruct students in the skills required to read and understand industrial blueprints.
- Teach students to sketch the main principal views of mechanical objects using third-angle projection.
- Focus on the reading of blueprints, with some emphasis on sketching.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant industry experience.
- Available to teach in-person at LCCC.
- Ability to operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience at the community college level.
- Experience with the Canvas learning management system.
