About the PositionThe Chairperson serves as the spokesperson for the department and collaborates with an advisory board of business professionals to drive strategic growth and development.
The Chairperson is responsible for recruiting students and faculty, supporting departmental teaching, research, and service activities, and managing resources, including fundraising efforts.
Requirements- An earned doctorate in Marketing (or equivalent) from a reputable institution
- Academic achievements in scholarship and teaching that merit appointment with tenure at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor
- An established record of successful teaching, significant intellectual contributions, and university service
- Earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited university
- Familiarity with business AACSB accreditation standards and processes
- Prior administrative experience in a higher education setting
