Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Locum Physician to provide clinical and anatomic pathology services at our facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and anatomic pathology services, including electrophoresis, hematology differential review, and interpretation of bone marrow aspirate/bx
- Work closely with histotechnicians, cytotechnologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results
- Develop and implement effective procedures for specimen preparation and testing
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
Requirements:
- Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations, including CLIA, CAP, and AABB
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $220,000 - $280,000, depending on experience.
