Emergency Medicine Opportunity at MercyOne North Iowa

MercyOne North Iowa is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join our team. As a Level III Trauma Center, we provide high-quality care to over 30,000 patients annually.

  • 42 Hours of Physician Coverage: We have 42 hours of physician coverage per day, ensuring that patients receive timely care.
  • Tertiary Center: Our hospital is a tertiary center with over 300 physicians and specialists, providing patients with access to a wide range of medical services.
  • Low Transfer Rate: We have a low transfer rate, with less than 1% of patients requiring transfer to another facility.
  • Practice at One Site: Our physicians practice at one site, reducing the need for frequent travel.
  • 24/7 Scribe Coverage: We offer 24/7 scribe coverage, allowing our physicians to focus on patient care.
  • Teaching Opportunity: Our hospital offers a teaching opportunity for residents, medical students, PA/ARNP students, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Base Salary: Our base salary is $421,200 per year, with opportunities for additional income through incentives.

  • 120 Hours of PTO: Our physicians receive 120 hours of PTO per year, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Annual CME Allowance: We offer an annual CME allowance of $4,000, supporting ongoing education and professional development.
