Job Description

  • ">
  • As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by following physician's orders, state regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.">
  • You will administer medications as prescribed by medical doctors, adhering to our facility's guidelines.">
  • Leading, guiding, and supervising nursing assistants and orderlies will be part of your responsibilities.">
  • You will assist physicians with rounds as needed, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care.">
  • Providing draping services, accompanying patients during doctor visits, and caring for patients during examinations and treatments will be essential duties.">
  • You will perform scheduled treatments, document appropriately, and maintain infection control measures as required.">
  • Compliance with cleanliness regulations, infection control, and Standard/Universal Precautions is crucial.">
  • You will participate in research related to quality nursing care as assigned.">
  • Assisting with record-keeping, ordering supplies, and assessing new admissions will also be among your responsibilities.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You must be a Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited School of Nursing.">
  • A current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submission of proof of renewal every two years are necessary.">
  • Genuine interest in geriatric nursing is essential.">
  • CPR certification is required annually.">
  • Attending in-service training and other staff meetings as required will be expected.">
  • You must have the ability to supervise nursing assistants effectively.">
  • Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work harmoniously with all nursing personnel, departments, and patients are vital.">
  • You will make informed decisions regarding nursing problems, understanding the potential consequences for patients.">
