Job Summary:

The Body Shop Painter at Jenkins Collision Center of Leesburg is responsible for applying paint and other cosmetic finishes to vehicles undergoing repair. This individual will work as part of a team to ensure the highest quality paint work is completed on every vehicle, while also meeting productivity goals. This is a full-time, salaried position in the auto industry located in Florida.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking as necessary.
  • Mix and match paint colors to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Paint vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Inspect finished paint work for quality and address any touch-ups or imperfections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet productivity goals.
  • Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an auto body painter required.
  • Knowledge of various painting techniques and tools.
  • Ability to match paint colors using computerized systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
