Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a skilled FPGA Signals Processing Engineer to join our team in the Ft. Meade area, MD.

This role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement DSP algorithms in software and hardware, specifically Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).
  • Develop algorithms focused on high throughput exploitation of signals, with an emphasis on low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations.
  • Conduct modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), independently designing and implementing software models in MATLAB or other similar design suites to process signals of interest.
  • Provide analysis of module/model output from signals of interest to allow creation of follow-on processes.
  • Develop novel approaches for utilizing COTS and GOTS systems for creating processing solutions outside the intended use.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • BS and 10+ years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer OR 15+ years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer without a BS degree.
