Job Summary:

The Housekeeper, also known as a Cleaning and Sanitation Specialist, plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff at the Center For Discovery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing procedures for cleaning, sanitation, and infection control to ensure the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
