Job DescriptionPrairie Band Casino & Resort is seeking a skilled Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality food standards while controlling labor and other expenses.
- Oversee the operation of assigned outlet kitchens, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to SOPs.
- Provide direct supervision, training, and coaching to kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and productivity.
- Perform financial analysis, complete reports, and assist with personnel hiring and development.
- Perform duties of Food-Beverage Supervisor as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with two years of Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training.
- Two years of progressive supervisory experience in food production in a gaming, hotel, or chain restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food and labor costs, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and basic office equipment.
- Knowledge of Asian/Pacific Rim cuisines.
