Job Overview

ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. As a key member of our engagement team, you will provide support and services as a dedicated on-site Industrial Hygiene Technician working closely with US Fusion And Specialty Construction | US Rubber And Specialty Applications at The Saltstone Facility at the Savannah River Site (SRS).

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Operate appropriate sampling equipment and sampling methods per industry standards
  • Technical competency in utilizing various industrial hygiene equipment
  • Maintain industrial hygiene equipment calibrations
  • Develop equipment management files and conduct training on equipment
  • Notify supervisors and personnel of monitoring results
  • Based on guidance received from The Certified Industrial Hygienist, perform industrial hygiene surveys, sampling, studies, and investigations
Requirements and Qualifications
  • The Industrial Hygiene Technician shall serve as a dedicated on-site Industrial Hygiene Technician working closely with US Fusion And Specialty Construction | US Rubber And Specialty Applications at The Saltstone Facility at the Savannah River Site (SRS)
  • The Industrial Hygiene Technician shall be an individual with 12 months related experience under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
Security Clearance

The candidate must be a U.S. citizen. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license. Personal vehicles operated by the candidate must have valid registration. Personal vehicles operated by the candidate must be insured with proof of insurance within the vehicle.

  • Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary
