Position Overview:As a Full-Time PACU RN at Tullahoma Surgery Center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients who have undergone surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess post-operative patients in the PACU, providing high-quality nursing care.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of PACU or critical care nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
