About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at A First Name Basis Home Care in Gulfport. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation
  • Support clients with developmental disabilities in their daily routines and activities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Successful clearance of health screens as required by state regulations
  • Successful clearance of state and company background and reference checks
  • Must have at least 12 hours of availability/weekly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
