Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Good Shepherd Med Ctr. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the perioperative setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in perioperative nursing.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Thursday schedule, with call (average 4 nights per month).
