Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Mechanical Assembler to join our team at CalTek Staffing, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately assemble equipment and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize hand-held tools such as jigs, fixtures, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
  • Utilize power tools such as cut-off saws, curing ovens, swagers, metal wire counters, metal wire reeling machines, metal wire benders, metal wire pullers, etc.
  • Perform basic reading and measuring skills, taking accurate measurements of materials and applying action to them
  • Regularly lift or pull 30-50 pounds
Work Environment

The Heavy Mechanical Assembler will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings
  • Ability to utilize hand-held and power tools
  • Ability to lift or pull 30-50 pounds
