The Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, in partnership with the Virtual Medicine Department, is actively seeking a dedicated Nocturnal Virtual Hospitalist.
Program Details:
This innovative Virtual Hospitalist program delivers essential medical coverage to various regional sites, ensuring effective care through strategically located emergency room presence across the area.
Candidate Requirements:
We strongly prefer applicants with prior experience in virtual healthcare delivery. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Possession of a Texas Medical License or the capability to obtain one
- Current residency in Texas, Georgia, or Washington
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a team
- Proficient in computer usage with high-speed internet access
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with enhanced virtual care capabilities
- Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals across a system
