Job OverviewPosition Summary

This role is supported by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure the highest standard of customer service and provide exceptional attention to residents. Our Maintenance Technicians play a crucial role in addressing and fulfilling our residents' service requests, significantly contributing to the operational efficiency of the community.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations
  • Apply troubleshooting expertise to handle a diverse range of residential service requests promptly and professionally
  • Prepare rental units by executing various repairs in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, building exteriors, and appliances
  • Report any unresolved maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain organized and clean workspaces
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks
  • Utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Complete other job-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in plumbing, carpentry, drywall, HVAC, and appliance repair
  • Commitment to exceeding customer expectations and fostering strong relationships
  • Exhibit thoroughness, accuracy, and organization in task completion

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
