About the Role:
Duly Health and Care is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physicians; take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
- Perform telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions.
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all such activities in the chart.
- Assist physician with procedures as necessary.
- Clean and stock all patient examination rooms; clean and prepare instruments for procedures; keep list of needed medical supplies.
- Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, etc.
- Clean and sterilize equipment; check and restock medication cabinet as necessary.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
- Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician.
- Perform OSHA controls as required. Assist in performing narcotic count.
- Perform other projects and duties as related to department objectives.
Requirements:
- Current IL RN licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting but may consider new grad under specific circumstances
