Barnes Inc. is a leading manufacturer seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality team.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing and quality processes conform to customer, organizational, and governmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in precision machining and quality control.

You will be expected to drive continuous improvement efforts, manage quality metrics, and oversee inspectors to achieve business goals and optimize return on investment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the expansion and sustainment of a committed quality culture throughout the value chain
  • Ensure compliance with customer, organizational, and governmental standards
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Manage quality metrics and cost of poor quality
  • Oversee inspectors and assist with day-to-day processes

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment
  • Managerial experience; cross-functional experience in precision machining a plus
  • Demonstrated leadership effectiveness and excellent communication skills
