Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Arborist to join our team at Moore & Smith Tree Care LLC. As a Lead Arborist, you will be responsible for leading our arboriculture team and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tree care projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of arborists to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tree care projects.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working professionally as a climber.
  • Experience rigging in small spaces over homes and properties.
  • Ability to trim without gaffs.
  • Leadership skills to lead by example and be part of a team.
  • Ability to work as a team and assist with other job responsibilities when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to train others and help them grow.
  • Communication skills geared towards constructive criticism.
  • Organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified arborist.
  • Experience with bucket trucks, mini skid, 60-yard grapple, GRCS, and cranes.
