Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Director of Nursing.
- Lead, guide, and oversee the clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate the execution of the care delivery model, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe, round-the-clock care, focusing on minimizing overtime and agency personnel usage.
- Participate in staff recruitment, orientation for new hires, and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Note: Restrictions may apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state laws, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
Qualifications:
*Must possess a valid RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval).
*Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire is required.
*Commitment to attend monthly support calls is essential.
*Nationally accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) is required or a commitment to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within one year of hire.
*Clinical experience in a skilled nursing environment is strongly preferred.
*Experience in discharge planning is also preferred.
*Strong knowledge of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and other team members is necessary.
*Demonstrated experience in team building and respect for the interprofessional team in wound management is essential.
*Knowledge of nursing home regulations and the survey process is required.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, and PowerPoint is required.

$35 per hour.
