Position Overview:
GoldenWolf is in search of an experienced Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team, providing comprehensive, on-site support as part of the Defense Health Agency Headquarters Engineering Operations group in San Antonio, TX. This position entails overseeing and implementing intricate infrastructure repair and modernization initiatives while adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of extensive infrastructure repair and modernization projects, including drafting performance work statements (PWS), creating cost estimates, and serving as a technical advisor during source selection processes.
- Facilitate project execution and initiation meetings, act as Technical Representative, and conduct Quality Assurance and Safety compliance inspections.
- Perform functional testing and commissioning to ensure government acceptance of systems through detailed verification of design, installation, functionality, and performance.
- Offer expert engineering guidance on compliance and quality management for major building systems, encompassing HVAC, water distribution, plumbing, medical gas, security and communications, building automation, and fire suppression systems.
- Support DHA Enterprise Water Treatment Management initiatives by collecting and validating performance data and metrics for reporting purposes.
- Assist Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in enhancing energy efficiency and water treatment capabilities.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical oversight and guidance to foster their professional development in fieldwork and adherence to engineering standards and DHA policies.
