About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Temple University Health System. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Initiate and complete procedures relating to basic human, mental health, and social needs">
  • Implement components of the plan of care through various activities">
  • Measure vital signs, perform ECGs, venipuncture, IV placement, capillary blood glucose testing, and other tasks">
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care needs, nutrition and fluid management, and elimination needs">
  • Perform Unit Secretary, Patient Transport, and Environment of Care duties">

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Additionally, successful completion of Nurses Aide or Medical Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program, EMT training program, or Nursing student with satisfactory completion of Nursing 101 clinical or equivalent clinical rotation is required. One year of experience in a related patient care role is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

BLS - Basic Life Support certification is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits:

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Estimated Salary: $52,500 per annum
