Job Summary

The Driller Helper plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of samples in the field. Reporting to the Driller, this individual is responsible for assisting in the presentation of samples while adhering to Major Drilling's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recovery and presentation of samples in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure all duties and tasks are undertaken in accordance with Major Drilling's policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Driller to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in pre-hire drug testing and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Be physically fit and able to pass a fit-for-duty test.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a current, registered driver's license without major infractions in the last three years.
  • Be able to work 12 hour shifts (day or night) in various climatic conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Have a mechanical background and aptitude, with skills in operating and maintaining machinery.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
