Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technician, Registered to join our team at Liberty Hospital. As a key member of our Sleep Lab, you will be responsible for administering therapy and treatments, performing sleep apnea studies and scoring, and performing EKGs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer therapy and treatments to patients
  • Perform sleep apnea studies and scoring
  • Perform EKGs
  • Administer gases to patients
  • Teach patients about their care and treatment
  • Document patient care and adhere to patient care protocols
  • Support Neurology with EEGs, including periodic weekend call
Requirements
  • Recent experience in the sleep lab, performing patient hook-up, performing full sleep studies with and without CPAP/BiPAP, and scoring of sleep studies
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) licensure
  • BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory school
  • Experience in a sleep lab or polysomnography program
