Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients: Administer respiratory care procedures, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and medication treatments, as ordered by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Operate specialized equipment: Utilize advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators, to provide high-quality care to our patients.
  • Education and training: Teach and precept new team members, orientees, and students on respiratory care procedures and best practices.
  • Professional growth and development: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program, with a minimum of an associate degree.
  • License and certification: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice, and active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Skills and abilities: Effective organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems.
