About the Role:
As a Child Care Teacher at Bright Horizons, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and helping them grow into curious and confident learners. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development in children aged [insert age range].
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
- Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, AA or higher ECE degree preferred.
- At least 18 years of age with a valid ID.
- 6 months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
- Must have Maryland 90-hour Certification in Infant/Toddler to meet MD licensing requirements.
