Key Responsibilities:
- Lead logistics strategic planning and analysis throughout all phases of life-cycle management.
- Collaborate with Technical Design Activities (TDAs), vendors, and engineers to establish and refine acquisition and supportability requirements for developmental initiatives.
- Assess and update initial requirements for systems and equipment designs, considering operational and supportability perspectives.
- Facilitate the planning, development, and execution of essential milestone documentation to support program initiatives.
- Guide integrated product support teams or work independently to address complex life-cycle logistics challenges.
- Develop and implement life-cycle logistics policies, plans, and procedures.
- Provide oversight and direction to support teams, including preparing briefings for senior leadership.
- Apply logistics management concepts and practices to both new and legacy systems during acquisition and sustainment phases.
- Utilize analytical tools to evaluate integrated product support elements and mitigate associated risks.
- Demonstrate expertise in continuous process improvement, contract management, and resource planning.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: MA/MS in logistics or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or BA/BS with 10 years of experience; or AA/AS with 15 years of experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills for effective planning and trend analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites.
