We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing quality patient care and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team, ensuring safe and competent patient care. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will assist cardiologists during procedures, operating ancillary equipment and anticipating necessary inventory and medications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department, communicating effectively with patients, families, and physicians.
- Assist with various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, working under the direction of a cardiologist/radiologist.
- Sustain a high level of patient care by maintaining accurate records and promoting a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- CURRENT LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING
- APPROPRIATE SPECIALTY CERTIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS
- TWO YEARS OF CATH LAB EXPERIENCE PREFERRED, IDEALLY IN A CRITICAL CARE SETTING
