"Hospice Of Hope, Inc." is a compassionate healthcare provider seeking a dedicated and empathetic Certified Hospice Care Assistant to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will provide essential care and support to terminally ill patients in their private residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and apartments.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits, requiring a minimum of one year experience in patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide course, and registration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, toileting, and maintaining hygiene.
- Assist with daily activities, such as serving meals, helping patients eat, and cleaning the patient area.
- Monitor vital signs, observe patients for health concerns, and report changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of patient areas, including restocking supplies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities:
- Empathy, responsibility, and dependability.
- Effective communication skills with team members, clients, and family members.
- Ability to accept supervision and follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
This position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
