Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Access Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for placing vascular access devices in patients across our entire AH Main campus.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with a specialized team of nurses who are trained to thoroughly assess patients' veins and place the most appropriate device for the best outcome. Our team consists of nurses from all backgrounds and experience levels who have undergone our onboarding experience, focusing on competency with ultrasound and all vascular access practices, including PICC line placement.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues related to vascular access.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to attain expected outcomes for patients.
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with legal or policy parameters.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside.
