Job Title: Reserve Pilot

At Med-Trans, we are seeking skilled Reserve Pilots to join our team of medical air transport professionals. As a Reserve Pilot, you will play a critical role in providing safe and efficient transportation services to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with a team of medical experts to transport patients to and from medical facilities.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, and other relevant information.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Provide shift change information to transitioning pilots and teams, and follow protocols for recording company change board details.
  • Stay up-to-date with required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time to field base locations, as directed.
Requirements:
  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • 3,000 flight hours.
  • 2,000 helicopter hours.
  • 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
  • 1,000 turbine hours.
  • Min. 200 (500 preferred) helicopter night flight hours (aided and/or unaided).
  • 200 hours of cumulative IFR experience (IFR Reserve Position).
