Description

We are currently accepting applications for future opportunities for part-time educators in the field of economics across our three colleges. Although there are no immediate openings, submitted applications will be retained for consideration throughout the academic year.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of a dean, the Economics Educator (Non-Contract/Temporary) will deliver comprehensive instructional services to a diverse student body, facilitating their academic and vocational goals.

KEY DUTIES
1. Deliver academic instruction through lectures, labs, or performance courses; assess and enhance students' cognitive and communication skills through targeted assignments and activities.
2. Advise students on academic pathways, lifelong learning resources, and effective study techniques; refer them to appropriate support services as needed.
3. Monitor and evaluate student performance against course objectives and learning outcomes, providing timely feedback.
4. Organize instructional content in alignment with approved course outlines to optimize student learning outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, and student progress; prepare and submit necessary reports.
6. Select and evaluate instructional materials, collaborating with faculty as necessary.
7. Update course content in accordance with new developments in the field.
8. Participate in curriculum development and contribute to departmental meetings and activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in economics or a Bachelor's degree in economics combined with a Master's degree in a related field such as business or political science.
