Our company is committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are looking for a talented individual to lead our healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to clinical care.
  • Identify Trends and Develop Improvement Plans: Collect, analyze, and report occurrence trends, and develop/implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Administrator and Team Members: Partner with the Administrator and other team members to analyze and maintain resident and team member health and safety.
  • Optimize Pharmaceutical Services: Work with the pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
  • Lead Clinical Staff: Provide clinical expertise and guidance to licensed nurses.
  • Assess Resident Needs: Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment/service plan process, including documentation for residents with a change in healthcare status.
  • Update Resident Service Plans: Ensure that resident service plans are updated as indicated by state regulations.
  • Communicate with Families: Maintain open communication with resident families and/or responsible parties regarding changes in care or health concerns.
  • Schedule Clinical Staff: Schedule clinical staff on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure Clinical Supplies: Ensure that adequate clinical supplies are available.
  • Participate in On-Call Schedule: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Current State License: Maintain a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse per state regulations.
  • License in Good Standing: Ensure that the license is in good standing.
  • Supervisory Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Geriatric Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of geriatric experience.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
  • Assessment Skills: Demonstrate competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow-up, and triage.
  • Leadership Skills: Provide leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others, inspiring and motivating others to perform well.
