Dietary Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at PruittHealth. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

• Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, food purchasing, and food storage.
• Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist with tray service, including delivering and collecting trays, and ensuring that residents have access to food and beverages.
• Follow established procedures for food handling, preparation, and storage to ensure the quality and safety of food served to residents.
• Work collaboratively with the Dietary Manager and other food service staff to ensure that food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• A minimum of one (1) year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Experience in long term care food production is preferred.
