Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Maintenance: Clear dirty tables quietly and unobtrusively, checking the floor for linen, dropped utensils, and debris, wiping and realigning chairs properly to the table.
  • Resetting Tables: Reset tables with clean, unstained linen, placing flatware and glassware appropriately, always handling by the stems and handles, and centerpieces in proper positions.
  • Water Service: Deliver water to the table when requested by a server and assist the server in pouring throughout the guest experience.
  • Bread Service: Set up and bake bread, conscious of waste, cooking only what is required for the expected number of guests. Bring bread and bread condiments to the guest if assigned, always before any other food is brought to the table.
  • Communication: Communicate immediately to the server any bottled water replaced at guests' request to ensure that the product appears on the check.
  • Teamwork: Assist servers in removing full and dirty trays from the dining room, assist servers in pre-bussing between courses, and assist the dishwasher by properly clearing and stacking plates and separating glassware and silverware into assigned racks and bins.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and stock bus-stations before and after shift with linen, glassware, plates, and flatware. Maintain a polished, professional appearance and a respectful and cooperative relationship with all other employees.
Requirements
  • Outgoing Personality: Outgoing, pleasant personality, and a desire to please guests.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
