Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Roll Editor machine to meet production schedules and programs production sequences for optimal productivity.
  • Load and unload materials from the machine as required.
  • Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
  • Perform tests and checks on product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instruction.
  • Strong service and quality focus, with ability to address issues effectively when problems arise.
  • Ability to actively contribute in a team-based environment and encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management.
  • Proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Ability to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
Preferred Requirements
  • 3+ years of previous material handling/manufacturing experience.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical/technical aptitude, and logical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge about ELS Operating Principles.
