Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

Peapack-Gladstone Bank is a leading boutique bank that offers innovative wealth, lending, and deposit solutions to its clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

The Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Credit Risk Management team in analyzing and managing credit risk across various lines of business. This includes monitoring and analyzing macroeconomic data, developing and implementing credit risk models, and providing insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models, including CECL and stress testing models
  • Analyze macroeconomic data and provide insights to management
  • Support the development of credit risk policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to management and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, or engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Knowledge of financial regulatory trends and principles, including CCAR and DFAST
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
