Job Summary:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a vital member of the Post Acute Medical team, responsible for delivering high-quality cardiopulmonary care to patients in our hospitals. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory therapy, with a focus on routine therapy, diagnostic procedures, and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine therapy and diagnostic procedures for patients, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and ventilator management.
  • Maintain all equipment in working order, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
  • Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing services, working closely with the laboratory team to ensure accurate results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in respiratory care, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in respiratory therapy, with a focus on cardiopulmonary care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
