We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, and rehabilitation and/or wound care needs.
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other patient care team members.
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements and hospital policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Order entry, data input etc.).
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current ACLS certification.
