Job Summary:

Amcor plc is seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our team. As a Die Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized machine to produce high-quality packaging for domestic and international use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Die Cutter machine to develop end-result printed material in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Prepares Die Cutter by performing a variety of tasks to produce a consistent, high-quality product by adjusting the die and register for pressure and cutting.
  • Resolves any defects and adjustments to produce high-quality product.
  • Oversee General Technicians working on equipment.
  • Make adjustments, clear jams, while processing product, maintaining speed and quality.
  • Ensure efficient and rapid make ready, with unloading and loading.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma (or GED).
  • Must have interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights and measures.
Physical Demands:

This position requires prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and/or reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing and speaking.

Frequent lifting in excess of 60 lbs. is required.

Must be able to hold, touch, feel and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safe manner. Manual dexterity is required.

Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus as well as good eye-hand coordination Must be able to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
