Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse II will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- One year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, preferably in an emergency department setting.
- BLS certification required prior to orientation.
