Job Overview

The Colson Group Holdings LLC is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our manufacturing facility.

Position Summary:As a vital member of our team, you will ensure the smooth flow of products in and out of the warehouse, along with appropriate material organization as required. You will be responsible for placing received items into inventory and verifying that products are prepared for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive items and accurately place them into inventory using established processes and transactions.
  • Transfer finished products from the assembly area and manage shipping through necessary systems and transactions.
  • Record material movements in Epicor to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including Stand Up Lifts, as required.

Experience Requirements: (Minimum of 6 months to 1 year in each of the following areas)

  • Understanding of product flow within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient operation of material handling equipment.
  • Adeptness in recognizing the importance of accurate inventory transactions.
  • Collaboration experience with various departments and leadership to meet goals, ideally 1-2 years.

Educational Background:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
  • Required: High school diploma or GED.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in operating material handling equipment or willingness to undergo training.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Ability to utilize RF scanners and tablets or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Epicor ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality service in all transactions and adherence to company policies.
  • Strong work ethic is essential.

  • Ability to lift heavy packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

Certification:

Forklift certification is required.

Compensation:

$17 - $21 per hour
