Haven Behavioral Healthcare is a 42 bed acute-care Joint Commission Accredited psychiatric hospital that offers a full continuum of care for older adults dealing with mental health issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia. As a night shift RN, you will provide direct patient care, oversee the provision of care during assigned shifts, and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality behavioral health services.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient outcomes and a passion for working in a family-oriented environment. You will be an integral part of coordinating responses to incidents and contributing to staff education and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician
  • Oversight for the provision of care during assigned shift
  • Serves as a resource to the direct care staff
  • Provides support to the Director of Nursing with hiring, orientation, staffing, staff education, performance improvement, and other activities as assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • In accordance with the emergency regulation issued by the City of Philadelphia requiring hospital workers to be fully vaccinated, all employees and contractors of Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia are required to be fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine
