We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climbing Foreman to join our team at Atlas Tree Surgery. As a Climbing Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of climbers and arborists in performing tree pruning and removal services.

• Lead Climbing Team: Supervise and direct a team of climbers and arborists in performing tree pruning and removal services.
• Operate Equipment: Safely operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Perform Climbing Duties: Perform climbing duties, including pruning and removing trees, and installing cabling and bracing.
• Ensure Safety: Participate in job site safety briefings and ensure that all team members are following safety protocols.
• Assist with Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as driving, backing, and parking duties.

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in the arboriculture industry.
• Education: CDL Class A license preferred, but not required. ISA Certified Tree Worker preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of proper pruning practices, including large shade trees and ornamentals. Knowledge of native and introduced tree and shrub species and characteristics of each species. Ability to work independently and in a group. Ability to learn quickly and to follow instructions accurately.
