Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, assessing their condition and developing individualized plans to improve their health and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and perform various procedures to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to address concerns, discuss treatment options, and promote positive outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Active RN licensure in the state of California.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care or a related field.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $2815.73 - $3103.05 per week, based on 36 hours of work per week. Our benefits package includes:
