About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Netflix. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping software that directly impacts our API platform, messaging, personalization, sign-up, partnership, payments, and billing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive large projects throughout their lifecycle from identifying the problem to launching in production.
  • Own what you build, beyond just your code, and have a passion for quality.
  • Work on complex distributed systems and craft systems and solutions to realize a range of product and engineering goals.
  • Drive real business impact by applying your software engineering, analytical, and collaborative skills across engineering, product, design, ML/data science, and consumer insights.

Requirements:

  • 6-8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and shipping software.
  • Excellent object-oriented programming skills and a passion for writing high-quality code.
  • Experience working with large-scale, low-latency distributed systems.
  • Strong systems design skills and ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $115,000 - $660,000 per year. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits, including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
