Job Summary

Responsible for the proper handling of livestock, including sorting, counting, weighing, and tattooing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory of livestock, including sorting and loading/unloading.
  • Supervise and coordinate yard personnel, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Haul livestock safely and efficiently.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filling in for the Station Manager as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and insurable under company guidelines.
  • Maintain certification in the Humane Handling of Livestock and follow TQA Guidelines.
  • General maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment, including alleyways, pens, and chutes, vehicles, and skid steers.
  • Work well with livestock customers and plant personnel.
