EF International Language Campuses is seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team at our Tarrytown, NY campus. As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
Key Responsibilities- Teach scheduled contact hours as assigned by Academic Management
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans using our Efekta blended learning program
- Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner, including grading, reporting, and record-keeping
- Prepare materials and resources for classes, including handouts, quizzes, tests, and assignments
- Provide support to students with queries and communicate with the relevant department
- Participate in teacher meetings and staff development activities
- Bachelor's degree
- TEFL certificate or 1-year ESL teaching experience
- Native or proficient level English
- Highly motivated, proactive, and positive attitude
- Organized and thorough, with excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to large volumes of students
- Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, or Cambridge (desired)
- Competitive hourly rate: $20.89 - $23.64
- Ongoing professional development opportunities in English language teaching
- Sponsorship for up to three modules of the TKT (dependent on duration of employment)
